Friend — It's not your imagination. Dangerous, more extreme weather events are happening more and more often. Have you ever wondered why that is?

On Thursday, December 9th at 7 PM EST, come join LCV and our Climate Action programs for a virtual conversation on extreme weather events! This discussion will focus on the extreme weather we have been subjected to in 2021, including, but not limited to drought, heat waves, hurricanes, flooding, and cold snaps (like what we witnessed in Texas).

This free virtual event will explore the science behind how climate change has either caused or exacerbated these events. Speakers will include a representative from NOAA, an expert on community health, and community activists who will give short testimonials about living in areas impacted by this extreme weather.

This event will also include guidance on how you can take action against climate change and these occurrences of extreme weather.
