And now, I'm about to fall short of my make-or-break midnight fundraising goal. I have nowhere else to turn, and Senator Jacky Rosen suggested I reach out to you, so I'm urgently asking you to split $5 before tonight’s deadline. [link removed]

This news couldn't have come at a worse time: CNN is already calling me one of the most vulnerable senators in the country, The Cook Political Report downgraded my chances of defending this seat, and now this new poll has me 2 points behind my extremist opponent.

The GOP only needs ONE seat to flip the Senate -- and it's clear they've got their sights set on Nevada. GOP outside groups have poured more than $2 million into attack ads to defeat me -- and this new poll shows their efforts could be working.

I cannot afford to lose any more ground, and Democrats cannot afford to lose in Nevada -- not with Senate control hinging on my race. This poll is still within the margin of error, so I can turn this around, but it needs to happen now. That's why I'm counting on your immediate grassroots support to make it possible:
