This year, we have been hard at work making sure that all people with disabilities can live in their communities — from safe schools and reproductive health care choice to ensuring we’re not forgotten in the response to the pandemic and rollout of vaccines. With your support, we’ve advocated for home- and community-based services in the Build Back Better bill, created plain language resources in English and Spanish, hosted our second virtual and tenth total advocacy academy for autistic college students, and more. We’ve got even more on the agenda for 2022, but we can’t do it without you.

Here’s how you can help:

In the year to come, we’ll be busy ensuring that people with disabilities are included everywhere: in our communities, in the workplace, in education, and in the voting booth. We’ll continue to support autistic leaders and emerging self-advocacy organizations across the country. We’ll produce more Easy Read toolkits on the issues that matter to our community. And as always, we will make sure that our community has a say in the policy decisions that affect us, and that all of us have the tools we need to speak out.
