John, the conservative-stacked Supreme Court will determine the future of Roe v. Wade in a matter of months — and based on the reports we heard coming out of this week’s hearing on the Mississippi abortion case, and the fact that the unconstitutional Texas abortion ban is still in place, it is clear that we can’t trust the Court to protect abortion rights.
We need to act right now to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law — before the Supreme Court overturns it for good.
As a doctor specializing in women’s health for more than 20 years, I will fight like hell to defend and expand abortion rights as the next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania.
In the meantime, we need to put pressure on the Senate to act. Will you add your name next to mine to call on U.S. Senators to enshrine abortion rights into law by passing the Women’s Health Protection Act right now?
People are pregnant right now and need and deserve safe, reliable health care options — options free from political interference, fear of criminal persecutions, and barriers caused by cost or distance.
Between the Supreme Court’s impending decision and many conservative-led legislatures passing extreme law after law to restrict and ban abortion, we must take action at the federal level to codify Roe.
This could not be more urgent. Please join me in telling the U.S. Senate to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act by adding your name:
Abortion is a constitutional right, and we must do everything we can to protect it. Thanks for signing on.
