Jack — This week, the Supreme Court began oral arguments in a case that has the potential to strip millions of women across the country of their constitutional right to an abortion.

On December 1st, Mississippi state officials stood before the court, asking them to not only uphold the unconstitutional 15-week abortion ban passed in the Mississippi legislature, but to overturn what has been settled precedent for nearly 50 years.

Roe v. Wade and Pennsylvania v. Casey have protected the right to an abortion for decades and Republican legislatures all around the country — including Arizona — have been working endlessly to overturn it. Roe is in clear danger, and HEAL PAC is committed to protecting it, but we need your help.

During his confirmation hearings, Justice Kavanaugh agreed that Roe is settled precedent; yet, he and the rest of the conservative Justices have made it plainly obvious they’re open to overturning that landmark decision. As a healthcare professional, I am infuriated by this. This is terrifying news for millions of women and their healthcare providers, Jack — reproductive health decisions should remain between an individual and their physician. Period. Full stop.
