John —
It's been two full weeks since Dwight and the Democratic House majority passed the Build Back Better Act, which includes universal Pre-K, affordable health care for seniors and people living with disabilities, a $150 billion investment in housing affordability, and so much more.
The Build Back Better Act is a stepping stone toward rebuilding the middle class and strengthening our communities so that everyone -- no matter where they live -- has the opportunity to thrive. But with a narrow majority in the Senate, even one Democrat voting no on this massive social safety net legislation could stop it from becoming law.
Philadelphians and working families in every state need a break from the pressure of rising costs and stagnant wages. Simply put, too many folks can't afford for this legislation to stall in the Senate. Dwight is putting pressure on the Senate to set partisan games aside and do the work to help our country build back better.
John, will you take a minute to sign our petition calling on the Senate to bring the Build Back Better Act to a vote? Your voice is needed as we fight to get this bill across the finish line.

We can't miss this opportunity to pass historic legislation that will positively impact our communities for generations -- from tackling economic inequality to addressing the climate crisis. Relief is needed now, and it's time for the Senate to deliver on the promise of building our nation back better.
Senator Mitch McConnell and his allies will stop at next to nothing to block progress. They'll try to block this bill, then turn around and put the blame on Democrats, President Biden, and even working people.
That's why it's crucial Democrats stay focused on what matters: passing the Build Back Better Act and sending it to President Biden's desk for a signature without delay. Will you take just a few moments to sign our petition calling on the Senate to bring the Build Back Better Act to a vote?

The more signatures we get on our petition, the more pressure we can put on the Senate to make this legislation law.
Thank you,
Team Evans
