Friend --

Senate Republicans have voted FOUR TIMES this year to block our efforts to protect voting rights. But I refuse to back down. Voting rights are too important -- the very core of our democracy is at stake.

But we won't succeed without an unwavering commitment from each and every one of us, including you. We need to show that we have the support and momentum to save voting rights. Otherwise, Republicans will continue to pass their voter suppression laws and obstruct our efforts to secure the right to vote.

I need to know you're with me on this. Add your name right now to call on the Senate to protect voting rights.

In state legislatures across the country, Republicans are systematically trying to suppress the right to vote.

Voter suppression keeps Americans from being a part of the decisions that affect them most, and these laws are designed to disproportionately impact marginalized communities. And you should be under no illusion that Republicans don't know this. They know that the only way they can win is if they silence voters at the ballot box.

I know I've sent a lot of emails like this recently, and it's easy to feel tired. But that's what the Republicans want: To wear us down and keep us from fighting back.

I won't let that happen, and I know you feel the same. Tell the Senate that you'll keep pushing until we have federal legislation protecting voting rights.

Thank you for being in this fight,

Chuck Schumer
