LAST WEEKEND TO FIGHT THE RIGHT WING RECALL

The bosses’ courts have once again sided with big business and lifted the maximum that billionaires can throw into the PACs to push their racist recall. The CEOs are going all in, will you join us in going ALL OUT to defeat them?

Join the Kshama Solidarity megacanvass this Saturday at 10am @ Chop Suey! Last weekend had an incredible turnout of 140 volunteers - we need to escalate in these critical final days of the campaign to defend Seattle’s only elected socialist. Let’s paint Broadway red!

10am Sunday @ Judkins Park will be the last of our DSA solidarity canvasses, where we’ll be joined by visiting DSA NPC members Jen Bolen and Matt Miller who are in Seattle to support the campaign! See you there!

Can't make it to canvass? Vote "no" and commit now to telling five friends or peers what this recall is about: whether to build housing by taxing the rich -- and bring rent control to Seattle. Landlords are spending big money to fight this election. Join us at the General Membership Meeting moved to Tuesday, December 14.

DSA National's Medicare 4 All Team wants you!*

*(and just recruited our own Andre S to the National M4A Steering Committee!)

Here are the roles National is recruiting to help every chapter in the country organize for Medicare for All (and that includes vision, dental, and abortion dammit!):

Comms Team

This team is in charge of developing messaging and maintaining a relationship with the public via channels like social media, blogposts, and email campaigns. A great opportunity to do some high-visibility work for DSA's Medicare for All campaign.

Regional Organizer Team

DSA for Medicare for All connects to the work of local chapters through its regional organizers. The role of the regional organizers is to regularly check in with a some number of DSA locals about any Medicare for All organizing they are doing, and then report that work to DSA's national Medicare for All campaign. The goal is to have regional organizers in every state and for them to help develop coordination between local and national that unites their work into a cohesive and geographically spread mass movement for Medicare for All.The application says the deadline is 11/13, but it has been extended to do additional outreach. The deadline is now 12/15.
