After a busy opening week, Christmas at Wollaton is really helping people get into the Christmas spirit, enjoying the longer trail with lots of beautiful new installations and spaces to explore.

[ [link removed] ]There are refreshment areas around the trail so plenty of opportunity to grab a festive hot chocolate or toast a marshmallow or two and really take in the surroundings. Please remember to dress for the weather conditions. Aside from Storm Arwen which forced closure of the trail last Saturday, the event runs in most conditions including Sunday's snow which added further magic to the experience.
This weekend is close to sold out and peak slots, particularly weekends are filling up fast. Why not consider a twilight session for a chance to grab some beautiful pictures as the sun is setting, or perhaps a midweek visit?Â

Chanukah, the Jewish eight-day, wintertime festival of lights comes to a close at the weekend with a small ceremony on the steps of the Council House.
The menorah which has been on display in the square will be lit at around 5pm.
Notts Chabad will be joined by the Sheriff of Nottingham to mark the occasion. The public is welcome to attend.
