John, TV personality Dr. Oz has pushed pseudoscience like phony diet pills and unproven COVID cures. It’s a record of putting profits before people and trying to appease Donald Trump. So while Val took an oath to do no harm when she graduated medical school, we have no clue what oath Oz took.

The contrast between Val’s record of fighting for patients and Pennsylvanians and Dr. Oz’s peddling products and chasing TV ratings couldn’t be more clear. When Val was working to set up testing sites and keep kids safe as Chair of one of Pennsylvania’s largest counties, Dr. Oz was on TV arguing that we could sacrifice some lives to “get our mojo back.”

When Val was fighting to make sure Southeast Pennsylvania got its fair share of vaccines and holding daily press briefings on the virus, he was on TV spreading misinformation about unproven COVID-19 cures.

And now as Val is speaking out for abortion rights and pushing the U.S. Senate to enshrine abortion rights into law, he looked into a camera and said he’d be perfectly fine with the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade and taking away the right to a safe, legal abortion.

This guy has no business being in the U.S. Senate, especially as we are in the middle of an all-out assault on science, data, and facts. Val is the real doctor we need fighting for us, and since we don’t have millions of dollars in reality TV profits lying around like Dr. Oz does, we’re relying on this grassroots team to help send her there. That’s why we’re asking:

Can you chip in any amount to help elect Val to the U.S. Senate to put facts and science first? In the midst of a pandemic and unprecedented attacks on abortion rights, we need her leadership there now more than ever.
