Friends,
I want to tell you how thrilled I am that Stacey Abrams is running again for governor of Georgia.
We started Honor Bound with people like Stacey in mind — women leaders who’ve dedicated so much of their careers to service. And she’s a good reminder that that doesn’t just mean military service. We’re looking for any leader who puts this country and the people in it ahead of their own interests. This is for anyone willing to take a stand for democracy and fight for people’s rights.
That’s why I’m asking you to help me celebrate Stacey Abrams’ announcement today — split a donation with her campaign and let’s elect more badass women leaders like her.
You might remember that Stacey Abrams lost the 2018 gubernatorial election by just 50,000 votes. And that was after her opponent, then-Secretary of State Brian Kemp, purged hundreds of thousands of voters from the rolls. It was an abominable, anti-democratic, and deeply cynical maneuver. And it worked.
That might damage the resolve of your average public servant. Not Stacey Abrams.
She got back to work, founding Fair Fight to help bring more people into the democratic process and get people registered to vote. We saw that pay off in the 2020 election, when Democrats narrowly swept the presidency and both Senate races in Georgia.
Stacey Abrams will be an incredible governor, because she’s in this line of work to serve others. Honor Bound is designed to find future Stacey Abrams and inspire them to run for office. Will you split a donation today with Stacey’s campaign and Honor Bound?
Thank you, Amy |
