The Supreme Court Must Not Reward Anti-Abortion Violence

 

 

BY CHRISTIAN F. NUNES and ELEANOR SMEAL | Overturning Roe or limiting the constitutional right to abortion is not about women’s health. It’s about politicians seeking to deny women bodily autonomy and exert control over their future. 

The bottom line is that abortion is a constitutional right, one in which states do not need to meddle. The Supreme Court must rule against the Mississippi abortion ban—for the rule of law.

Texas Law Prohibiting Mailing Abortion Pills Won’t Stop Texans Seeking Pills Online

BY CARRIE N. BAKER | Today, Texas's S.B. 4 goes into effect. The law shortens the time window for Texans to use abortion pills, and makes it a felony for doctors to mail them to patients. 

But crucially, pregnant people in Texas are exempt from the law's penalties.
