Hi John,

Before we get too deep into December, I wanted to write and express my gratitude for your support. I know my team has already emailed you about the urgent happenings at the Supreme Court this week, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank you for helping us reach our November fundraising goal.

Heading into the holiday season, we knew fundraising might slow down. But thanks to reliable grassroots supporters like you, we reached our goal with time to spare before Tuesday night’s deadline.

While there’s so much to be proud of in recent weeks — from getting the historic infrastructure bill signed into law, to passing the Build Back Better Act which lowers costs for working families and tackles the climate crisis — it’s never been more apparent that our work is far from over.

This week, the conservative-majority Supreme Court is hearing arguments on a case that could result in the overturning of Roe v. Wade, allowing states to restrict the right to an abortion to the extreme.

With so much still at stake, it’s empowering to know that I’ve got such an active and dependable team by my side in everything I do — a team that won’t sit back and allow the far-right to lay waste to our rights and our democracy without a fight.

Thank you again for everything you do to support the ongoing fight for our shared progressive values. I’ll be counting on you in our endeavors to come.
