[1]Cori Bush

John, we won't
stop speaking out about this.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson
Women's Health Organization, a case over an extreme Mississippi law that
bans abortions after 15 weeks. Whatever outcome is decided will set a
critical precedent for abortion access in America.

We have seen before that we cannot trust this far-right Supreme Court to
do the right thing, and yesterday they reminded us of just that. During
the arguments, the conservative justices indicated that they would uphold
the Mississippi law — and possibly overturn Roe v. Wade entirely.

This could be the end of Roe v. Wade,
John. If it is overturned, abortion will fall
under state jurisdiction, and 22 states — including Missouri — already
have laws on the books to ban abortion.

We can't emphasize this enough: We're currently witnessing the worst
attacks on reproductive rights in our lifetime. It's why Cori has been
busy organizing to demand equitable and quality abortion care for anyone
who wants it. It's why Cori recently spoke in front of Congress and
publicly shared for the first time that she was sexually assaulted, became
pregnant, and chose to have an abortion.

And it's why we're reaching out today to ask for your support in this
work. [ [link removed] ]Will you chip in $5 or anything you can right now
to send a powerful message to anti-abortion politicians that our
grassroots movement is rising up to protect our reproductive freedom and
demand abortion care for all?

We need our movement to come together to protect abortion access for
everyone, but especially Black, brown, low-income, queer, and young folks
who are disproportionately harmed by abortion bans. We need to show up for
our neighbors no matter how hard or scary it gets.

We're working towards more than just a world where abortion care is legal.
We're working towards a world where no one is harassed or shamed for
accessing basic health care.

We must continue pushing for the expansion of the Supreme Court and the
passage of policies that would secure reproductive health justice. Cori is
ready to lead this work, but she also needs our grassroots support to fund
her organizing and legislating efforts to defend abortion access:

[ [link removed] ]It's going to take all of us working together to defend Roe v. Wade
and make sure every person receives the reproductive health care they
deserve. Will you chip in $5 or anything you can to support
Cori as she leads this call?

Together,

Team Cori
