It might only be a relatively minor Hanukkah miracle, but we’ll take it!
Our Giving Tuesday match -- intended to fuel just one day of giving -- will instead burn longer! (Our generous matching donor Arnie has pledged to extend his match right through Hanukkah.)
That’s important because earlier this week, we fell $10,072 short of our goal to raise $66,000 to push back against right-wing groups who claim to speak for our community in Washington DC.
With the match extended, we need just 57 more donors to make up the shortfall.

Making sure we have the resources to keep this fire burning is important. We need to have what it takes to match those who continue to argue that peace and equality are impossible, so why bother trying. We need to stand up to those who whitewash the damage that settlement growth, cyclical violence and endless occupation are doing to Palestinian lives, to the lives of young Israelis and the future of Israel itself.
Together, we’re fueling the struggle for a better future, and for the just, principled US leadership to help get us there.
A future in which every Israeli child and every Palestinian child can grow up in peace and security, can enjoy limitless potential, and have no reason to think they must ever take up arms against each other.
