But far-right Republicans want to replace me with someone who will be silent in the face of the ongoing attacks on women's health.

Jennifer Wexton for Congress

Friend,

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments yesterday over the state of Mississippi's direct challenge to Roe v. Wade. After hearing the questions and statements by Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett, we have every reason to believe that a majority of the court is prepared to remove all federal protections for a woman's right to choose.

Whatever happens, I will never stop fighting for reproductive rights. When I was in the Virginia State Senate, I stood against Republican laws that placed undue restrictions on the right to choose. I also championed bills to remove unnecessary waiting periods and repeal TRAP laws targeted at women’s health clinics.

In Congress, I voted to codify Roe v. Wade and affirm that a woman's right to choose is federal law. And I've called for an end to the filibuster so that the Senate can act on this.

But now, far-right Republicans have targeted me for defeat. They hope to replace me with someone who will be silent in the face of the ongoing attacks on women's health. Northern Virginia deserves better than that.

Anti-choice Republicans made major gains in my district last month, so I need your help to hold my seat and continue to fight for reproductive rights. Will you chip in $10, $25, $50, or more so we can raise another $5,000 by the end of this week?
