Friend --

As a reminder, a federal assault weapons ban has been introduced in both the United States House and Senate. As most of you know, congressional authoritarians successfully passed an AWB in the early '90s. ?Fortunately, that ban was not continued. However, we know the desire is there to try it again. So far this renewed attempt has well over 200 co-sponsors in the U.S. House of Representatives. ?In fact, 37 U.S. Senators have already signed on to support this latest effort as well. In such a closely divided legislature, every vote will count. That's why we are asking you to reach out to your specific legislators to exert some grassroots political pressure against this reimagined attempt to erode our rights.

No New Assault Weapons Ban

H.R. 1808/S. 736, also referred to as the Assault Weapons Ban of 2021,?arbitrarily labels many rifles, shotguns, and other firearms in common use as "assault weapons."?Of course, the term "assault weapon" is a made-up label created by anti-gun activists to slander modern firearms. These lengthy bills go on to provide?an extensive list of firearms that anti-gun special interest groups and legislators would like to see banned.?

To do your part to stop these bills in their tracks, reach out to your federal legislators TODAY and let them know you are wholly against the introduced AWB. ?Just click one of the red "No New Assault Weapons Ban" buttons in this email to easily contact your U.S. Senators and U.S. Representative. FPC has drafted a sample email for you to review, edit and personalize prior to sending it off.

No New Assault Weapons Ban

With substantial outreach, it is our goal to deter legislators in both chambers from moving this AWB any further through the legislative process. ?Thank you in advance for taking action on this important matter, and for your continued support of FPC. We'll keep you updated with any movement on this legislation or any other legislation that impacts your fundamental rights!

Yours in Liberty,
