Yesterday's Supreme Court hearing was frightening. The three illegitmate Trump justices made it clear they're ready to reverse fifty years of precedent and overturn Roe v. Wade . This is a five-alarm fire. The moment that happens a woman's right to choose will disappear in every state controlled by Republicans.

Americans overwhlemingly believe what I do: that women have the right to make their own reproductive choices - and no partisan court should be able to tell them otherwise. But the partisan Republican justices on the Supreme Court don't care what the American people think or want, they only care about their own power.

That is why I was proud to co-sponsor and support the Women's Health Protection Act in September, which would enshrine Roe v. Wade in federal law. Will you join me in supporting this critical piece of legislation?

The Women's Health Protection Act would enshrine many of the protections granted by Roe v. Wade into law, eliminating medically unecessary restrictions and guaranteeing the right of health care providers to provide, and for women to receive, an abortion. These are essential steps, not only towards reproductive justice, but for social and economic equality - especially for communities of color and those struggling to make ends meet, who frequently bear the worst of the burden of abortion restrictions. So please, join me in calling on the Senate to follow the House and enshrine a woman's right to make choices about her body into law.
