BBB Responds to Urgent Needs
As the U.S. Senate considers the Build Back Better Act, CLASP continues to highlight the bill’s critical provisions that bring needed support to people with low incomes, children, young adults, workers earning low wages, communities of color, and others who have been left behind by inadequate policy responses. For instance, we detail the bill’s provisions to address the Medicaid coverage gap [[link removed]] , expand the EITC [[link removed]] to young people and those who don’t have children living with them, provide affordable child care [[link removed]] and preschool to all, and support workforce development initiatives [[link removed]] .
