The third installment in our webinar series, Getting There, explores how road pricing (also known as congestion pricing) can help manage demand for driving in cities. Dr. Jonathan Hall, an applied microeconomist, has researched road pricing extensively, and Kate Slevin led RPA's advocacy for New York City's congestion pricing program, which was authorized in April 2019 by the NYS legislature. With GGWash moderating, these speakers will discuss road pricing as a set of tools that can shift demand toward transit, walking, and biking, and improve the performance of these modes, with implications for mobility, equity, health, the economy, and the environment. This webinar will be recorded and t here will be time for Q&A following the discussion.
