We&rsquo;re hiring! NextGen Ministries is looking for young adults, ages 18+, to lead its 2022 traveling summer camping program. Camp counselors work within NextGen Ministries Day Camps to help produce a God-inspired, fun-filled, life-changing week of camp for everyone attending. This paid position will operate from early June through the first week of August. Counselors travel the state of Missouri and make life-long friends while leading worship, small group and activities. Wesley Pilgrimage 2022
Open for Scholarship Applicants
The 2022 Wesley Pilgrimage in England will take place July 9&ndash;July 19. It features visits to six cities important to the Wesley family and the founding of Methodism, and it will include talks from faculty members who specialize in Methodism. The pilgrimage is a partnership of Discipleship Ministries, the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, and the General Commission on Archives and History. The pilgrimage costs $2,195. This amount covers all lodging, pilgrimage travel, admission fees, group insurance, laundry service, and most meals. It does not include the round-trip airfare to Sarum College in England. Scholarship funds are available for those preparing for Christian service, including United Methodist Church commissioned provisional elders and deacons, licensed local pastors, lay servants, lay speakers, and certified lay ministers. Scholarship recipients pay a reduced registration fee of $1,095. Scholarship applications must be submitted no later than January 30, 2022.
