In just a moment, I am going to ask you to split a donation between Stacey Abrams’ campaign for Governor in Georgia and my re-election in California. Let me explain why this is so important.

As you probably heard, Stacey Abrams launched her campaign yesterday.

The last time she ran, she came well within the margin of Republican voter suppression efforts from becoming the next Governor of Georgia.

This time, you can be sure Republicans are going to throw everything they have at her. They will work to suppress the vote even further. They will undoubtedly launch some of the most vicious attack ads possible meant to divide Georgians against each other.

Stacey Abrams was there for us doing the recall. Now that she has launched, I want to be there for her, as well. So I am asking:
