After the Protecting the Right to Organize, or PRO, Act passed in the House this past March, all eyes have been on the Senate to do the same. The legislation would strengthen workers’ rights to unionize, and is fully supported by President Biden himself.
In theory, passing this shouldn’t be a difficult feat. But Senator Kyrsten Sinema is holding us back.
She’s the only Senate Democrat who opposes the PRO Act — and while she rakes in hundreds of thousands of dollars from anti-worker corporations like multi-level marketing schemes, she refuses to support the legislation.

Here’s the truth, John: PRO Act or no PRO Act, Kyrsten Sinema is the #1 obstacle holding up Joe Biden's agenda in the Senate. She opposes the Build Back Better plan. She wants to keep the filibuster, even if it means not passing voting rights. And worst of all, she doesn't care about what Arizonans think; she's too busy listening to her corporate donors and their lobbyists.
Senator Sinema’s actions are an urgent reminder of why we must hold our lawmakers accountable to their constituents, and why we must take action to oust them when they don’t deliver on those promises.
