The Actors Fund

Dear Actors Fund Friends,

The season of giving is upon us!

As live performances return and our industry carefully gets back to work, the performing arts community still needs your help. Our services addressing heath care and health insurance, affordable housing, financial wellness, career guidance, mental health, support groups and beyond are in great demand as people adjust to a “new normal.” Here's what you can do to help make sure we can continue to be a safety net for those who need us:

  • Visit actorsfund.org/2021match to make a donation. Now through December 31, all donations up to $100,000 will be matched!
  • You can host a JustGiving Fundraiser if you want to invite a larger audience to tune in to your special event or support us via any fundraising efforts you’re leading.
  • You can also launch a Facebook Fundraiser and help spread the word about our work.
  • If you shop on Amazon, you can simply go to Smile.Amazon.com, select The Actors Fund as your charity of choice, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of eligible purchases—with no fees or extra cost to you.

We are so grateful for all that you do to support a life in the arts. Happy holidays, and enjoy this week's online events.

Crossovers

Crossovers Live!
Monday, December 20, 8 pm ET/5 pm PT

Stellar

Celebrate the season as Audra McDonald and Ariana DeBose join Crossovers Live! host Brian Stokes Mitchell for a night of unheard stories and unmatched holiday cheer!

McDonald is a Julliard-trained soprano who has won more Tony Awards for acting than any other performer. While her musical bona fides are undeniable, her prowess on stage and screen have made her a multi-hyphenate “to rule them all.”

From her debut as a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance, the Emmy-nominated DeBose has dazzled on stage in Hamilton, A Bronx Tale, additional major Broadway productions, as well as film and television. She also stars as Anita in Steven Spielberg's upcoming West Side Story!

Ten percent of ticket proceeds from Crossovers Live! will benefit The Actors Fund.
