Friend,
This week marks one year since our historic victory when the U.S. House passed the MORE Act – the first time a chamber of Congress has ever approved a bill that would deschedule marijuana to end federal criminalization and repair the harms of prohibition.
Since then, we got the bill reintroduced in a new Congress, through the House Judiciary Committee, and secured more than 100 cosponsors. Despite commitments from leaders that the House would pass it again this year, it hasn't moved to a floor vote yet and there are only a few weeks let for the House to act. It's time to force House leadership to bring the MORE Act to a vote immediately.
Here Are Two Quick Ways You Can Help Right Now.
=============
E-mail Your Rep. Make your voice heard by sending an email to your Representative to tell leadership to let the House pass the MORE Act this year.

Make a bigger impact: Call Your Rep. Calling puts more pressure than an email. Call their office at (202) 224-3121. You can say: I’m calling to urge my Rep. to encourage House leaders Pelosi, Hoyer, and Clyburn to move the MORE Act (H.R. 3617) forward and let the House vote and pass it this year. It’s beyond time to end federal marijuana prohibition and begin to repair the damage it’s caused to our communities. The MORE Act will deschedule marijuana, expunge marijuana convictions, and reinvest into the communities that have been most harmed by prohibition. Most people support federal marijuana reform and I hope you will do everything you can to ensure the bill is passed by the House this year. Thank you.

More and more states are legalizing marijuana centered in racial and social justice and public support for reform is higher than ever. Yet hundreds of thousands of people are still arrested for marijuana every year.
There is no excuse for Congress to continue to lag behind. It’s time to end the federal war on marijuana and repair the harms of prohibition, which has disproportionately harmed Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities and people experiencing low-income.
The MORE Act is the way forward: take action to help us force the House to pass it this year and advance marijuana justice nationwide: [link removed]
