Chris Murphy is on the Senate floor right now urging his fellow colleagues to pass HR8 and finally expand the Brady Background Checks Bill. I am so grateful for how much you have already done for our fight in the past days, and I wouldn’t ask more of you if it wasn’t truly important.

I cannot overstate how much we're counting on your action today. Especially when anti-gun safety groups are already sending calls to Congress in pursuit of their warped interpretation of the Second Amendment. As survivors of gun violence ourselves, those of us leading Brady's efforts know firsthand what toll it takes to have to wait for justice and change.
