The Supreme Court appears open to rolling back abortion rights. Here's what that means for Texas.
Earlier this year, Texas passed legislation that ensures abortion would be made a felony if Roe v. Wade is overturned.
And now, with the Supreme Court seemingly poised to roll back women’s reproductive rights, the possibility of abortion becoming illegal in Texas is looking more and more likely.
Put simply, this is a tragedy of epic proportions.
The radical religious right in our country has sought for decades to impose their theocratic position on the rest of us. But no one thought it was possible until Conservatives stole enough Supreme Court seats to make this possible.
We only have one choice: We must defeat Texas Republicans and replace them with leaders who are willing to fight for reproductive freedom.
