This is it. Our big Medicare for All day of action is TOMORROW. I’ve been talking about it all month, so this’ll be short:
Our goal is to apply pressure on Speaker Nancy Pelosi and build grassroots power. It’ll be a two-pronged approach:
Part 1: TODAY, we’re asking supporters from every corner of the country to make calls to Pelosi’s office, urging her to ensure that H.R. 1384 — the Medicare for All Act of 2019 — gets a vote on the House floor. Check out our script here, dial the number listed, and help advance this crucial health care legislation!
Part 2: TOMORROW, in downtown San Francisco (Speaker Pelosi’s own Congressional District) we’ll have hundreds of nurses, activists, and organizers marching and rallying for Medicare for All. For those not in California, all I ask is you share our event on social media and invite your friends!
This is a big moment for all of us. We’ve been building up for this all month long. And thanks to your tireless work, we’re going to send a powerful message about the strength of our Medicare for All movement.
