This week, the Supreme Court is hearing a case that could endanger our reproductive rights and jeopardize the future of reproductive freedom in states like ours.

Let’s get this straight: These decisions belong solely in the hands of pregnant people and their health care providers, NOT politicians.

I’m so frustrated by the hypocrisies and double standards. That’s why I introduced landmark legislation like the Viagra bill and Pro-birth Accountability Act. And that’s why as your governor, I’ll continue to support our right to choose against right-wing attacks.

Now, more than ever, South Carolina needs a governor with the courage and experience to stand up for reproductive freedom and the full slate of reproductive health care.
