Captive Aquatic Animals in Public Aquariums Webinar

Join me and Animal Legal Defense Fund Litigation Fellow Alexandra Monson for this free webinar [[link removed]] as we discuss the legal issues associated with fin fishes and whales exhibited
in public aquariums, as these animals make up the majority of aquatic animals held in captivity. This webinar discusses everything from capture, breeding, and
transport, covering these aquatic animals’ lives (and deaths) in aquariums.

Submit your essay for the 2019 New Voices in Animal Law Writing Contest [[link removed]] ! The first place winner will receive a $500 cash prize and the winning essay
will be featured on our website. This year’s topic is: tell us about an individual farmed animal who has had an impact on your legal advocacy and the future you see for farmed animals globally. The contest is open to all student chapter members. All entries must be
submitted by November 15.
