John — I'm an Air Force veteran, a community leader in DeWitt, and a mother of two. I care deeply that our communities get the representation they deserve.
But right now, states across the country are rolling back women's reproductive freedom and making it harder to vote. Interest groups are buying off politicians to block policies like paid family leave. Too many of our communities lack a voice, and they deserve representatives who've lived their experiences and understand the real-life impact of policy choices.
That's why I’m running for Congress in New York's 24th District. I'll fight to create opportunities for families, fix our sidewalks and roads, expand healthcare, and save the foundations of our democracy that have been deeply threatened in recent years. Your early support will be critical in one of the country's most competitive districts — please make a grassroots contribution to help us get our message out.

I grew up in Syracuse and Bridgeport, and I come from a long line of working-class Central New Yorkers who value service to country and community. My father was a union electrician, and my mother was a nurse.
My parents always opened up our home to care for our neighbors, and both walked picket lines to fight for better wages and working conditions. From an early age, I knew that it mattered to stand up for right over wrong.
I fought to improve the working conditions of my troops by increasing staffing and providing resources they needed to protect our country.
I wasn't afraid to stand up to people in power then, and I'm not afraid to stand up to people in power now. We won't get the solutions that working families need unless we elect people who have lived it and are willing to challenge the status quo.
My Republican opponent John Katko has voted to give corporations more influence in our government, against making prescription drugs more affordable, and against healthcare for millions of Americans. We need new leadership for Central and Western New York, and I'm running to be the voice and public servant our communities need.
Many eyes will be on NY-24 — it's one of the key districts that will decide control of the House in 2022. If you're ready to flip it blue, please be one of the first donors to this campaign.

I can't wait to share more of my story with you in the days and weeks ahead. In the meantime, please stay in touch with me on Facebook and Twitter.
I'm excited to begin this journey together.
