Joe Biden was in
Minnesota on Tuesday desperately trying to sell his “infrastructure”
plan.
Biden claims the bill will “build roads and bridges,” but only
10% of the funding goes toward actual infrastructure.
The lion’s
share of this $1.2 trillion spending package will pay for wasteful
liberal pet projects in big cities and HURT the hard-working people of
western Minnesota.
This left-wing bill includes:
A pilot program
for the Vehicle Mileage Tax Program, a new tax that charges drivers per
mile they drive. New sexual identity and gender orientation language in
puzzling places—like broadband expansion. A subsidy for electric
vehicle ownership to help out wealthy individuals in big cities and
make car ownership more expensive for the rest of us.Of course this
isn’t paid for. The Congressional Budget Office estimates it will add
another $367 trillion to the national debt. And you can bet that will
drive inflation even higher!
Make no mistake – this bill is BAD for
the people of western Minnesota and BAD for America. And it’s just one
more example of the Democrats' failed leadership.
In Biden’s
America, violent crime is surging. Inflation is skyrocketing. And the
left’s attempt to indoctrinate school children with anti-American
propaganda is enraging parents nationwide.
