I’m speechless. 2 days ago we witnessed a horrific mass shooting at Oxford High School in Michigan -- the 53rd school shooting just this year. I REFUSE to stand by while kids, just like my nephew Alex, are shot and murdered in their schools. We all need to rise up to defeat the NRA, REPLACE all of their lackeys in office, and BAN assault weapons. I need 820 gifts before midnight to fund our campaign to outraise and defeat the NRA. My heart just dropped.

-- Hanna St. Julian was 14 years old.
-- Tate Myre was 16 years old.
-- Madisyn Baldwin was 17 years old.
-- Justin Shilling was 17 years old.

These 4 students were shot and killed in just 5 minutes at their high school in Oxford, Michigan.

But this wasn’t an isolated incident -- it was the 53rd school shooting this year.

17 kids killed. 73 kids injured. Thousands of lives changed forever.

Any of these students could have just as easily been your child. If this doesn’t make you seething with anger, I don’t know what will.

I can’t believe I even have to say this: We MUST stand up to the NRA and END these school shootings. But I can’t do it alone.
