Ruth’s List Florida is excited to share our latest endorsement, Michelle Oyola McGovern for Palm Beach County Commission District 6.

If elected, Michelle would be the first Hispanic woman to serve on the Palm Beach County Commission. She comes from a large Puerto Rican family and is the oldest of four sisters. A trailblazer in her own right, Michelle was the first in her family to attend college.

Michelle is a lifelong Palm Beach County resident who understands the needs of the community firsthand. She is a working mother who regularly volunteers and continuously gives back to the community through service and advocacy. She currently serves as the Director of Government and Community Relations for a major healthcare system, and she's been recognized with numerous awards for her tireless public service.
