Dear John,

Just a few days ago, White Christian Nationalist hate-preacher Greg Locke stood from his pulpit to spread dangerous misinformation about COVID:

“All of these people are NOT DYING OF WHAT THEY’RE TELLING YOU THEY’RE DYING OF! The hospitals of America are the death camps of East Germany. The worst place to go today is a hospital when you are sick. They are killing people for money. On purpose.”

His deeply troubling remarks make enemies of healthcare workers and threaten the lives of anyone who hears and follows his advice.

This is what Christian extremism looks like today - a hateful, anti-science, anti-expert, fanatical movement that compares healthcare workers to the Nazis who murdered millions during the Holocaust.

We’re working day and night to counter this growing menace, both at the polls and in the halls of Congress. But we can’t do it without your help.

Donate to the Center for Freethought Equality and help us counter the dangerous rise in Christian extremism, that pits people against healthcare workers, and advances deadly anti-science conspiracies.

As a new COVID variant, Omicron, spreads, this kind of anti-science, anti-health worker religious rhetoric will cost lives.
Since White Christian Nationalists stormed Capitol Hill, they’ve been mobilizing against vaccines, against mask mandates, and even against school boards. Their zeal was on full display less than two weeks ago when Christian-backed Republicans swept statewide seats in Virginia.

You may wonder, what can I do?

It’s easy: in just 2 minutes, you can make a donation to Center for Freethought and we’ll immediately put your gift to work to help:
- Support leaders in government who will champion humanist and secular values;
- Fight back against all efforts that misuse religion to spread anti-science, deadly misinformation about COVID, abortion, or science;
-Track new threats to our rights, mobilize people to speak up, and hold Members of Congress accountable for their actions;
- Influence policy and legislation through high-level lobbying with key decision-makers;

We know the menace we face cannot be underestimated. The same White Christian Nationalists that stormed the Capitol are fueling hatred against health care workers, spreading deadly, anti-science misinformation, and winning elections across state and local levels.

Please donate today, so that we can respond to their dangerous anti-science, anti-healthcare worker crusade with unflinching resolve, to defend the separation of church and state, and protect the rights of all people.

With gratitude for all you do.
