Folks, we're only a week away from two big Albuquerque City Council runoff elections that could decide whether Democrats hold the majority. Before I ask you to chip in to support local politics, I want to share why these races are so important:

All politics is local. I learned that firsthand when I was on the Albuquerque City Council almost 20 years ago. That's why I've endorsed Democrats Tammy Fiebelkorn (District 7) and Rob Grilley (District 9) in these critical run-off races.

Tammy will always look out for Albuquerque's key priorities, from climate change and public safety, to supporting small businesses.

Rob will put a real focus on crime prevention, take a continuum-of-care approach to ending homelessness, and deliver on opportunities to support small businesses.

These are tough races. Tammy and Rob are facing Republicans with tens of thousands of dollars of outside money from conservative interests. We can't let Republicans win these races and, along with them, the majority on Albuquerque’s City Council.

But we just helped 15 local candidates win their races, and we know we can make a real difference in these, too. I'm hoping you'll help make sure Tammy and Rob win these races, as well as support my leadership fund's work to elect even more local candidates.

Will you split a donation of any amount between Tammy Fiebelkorn, Rob Grilley, and Lobo Leadership Fund to help continue our work to build strong leadership at the local level?

Thanks for your support.
