2019 TCS NYC Marathon weekend is kicking off today!
And we’re cheering for our client Huwe Burton, his attorney Susan Friedman, and the rest of Team Innocence Project.
Huwe Burton was wrongfully convicted of his mother's murder and fought for 30 years to clear his name. He was exonerated earlier this year with the help of Innocence Project Staff Attorney Susan Friedman. This Sunday, they'll be running the TCS NYC marathon together.
Started in 1992 as a legal clinic at Cardozo School of Law, the Innocence Project is now an independent nonprofit, affiliated with Cardozo, that exonerates the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reforms the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice. www.innocenceproject.org
