Last week at a fundraiser, conspiracy theorist GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert described Rep. Ilhan Omar as "black-hearted" and "evil" and went on to imply that she was a terrorist.
This wasn't the first time Boebert has attacked Ilhan either. Last month, Boebert took her limited time on the House floor to spew racist vitriol about Ilhan.
It's shameful, but we're not surprised. These are the kind of hateful and vicious attacks that Muslims around the country face simply for being who they are. They're also the kind of attacks Cori and other Black women in office face every day. Black women like Ilhan and Cori have been leading the charge toward justice and equality ever since they were elected to Congress. Republicans are terrified of the movement we're building and will do anything to silence us.
