Now more than ever, we need Stacey’s fearless leadership and impassioned advocacy for justice, for equality, and for our democracy. Time and time again, Stacey has shown her dedication to this country by championing voting rights and fighting for marginalized communities.
Stacey never gave up on Georgia even though many national Democrats wrote it off as a ‘red’ state. She put her whole being into rebuilding Georgia’s Democratic infrastructure from the ground up and her tireless efforts paid off big time in 2020 when Georgia elected Senators Ossoff and Warnock to flip the Senate Majority Blue.
In 2018, Stacey narrowly lost to Brian Kemp when he administered an election he was running in as Georgia’s sitting secretary of state. Since then, Georgia Republicans have rammed through voter suppression legislation to make winning elections even tougher for people of color and marginalized communities.
Now it’s our turn to help her win. I know that with a strong campaign and big push, Stacey has what it takes to win Georgia’s governorship, keep Raphael Warnock in the Senate, and rebuild the foundation of our Democracy.
