John, the reason we set such an ambitious goal – our biggest one in an election off-year – is because the stakes are incredibly high at this moment for our campaign.

The final redistricting map is set to be released this month, and far-right extremist Devin Nunes could be making his official announcement to run in our district any day now. He’s got a $12 million war chest behind him, not to mention the hundreds of thousands in dark money that the GOP has already been pouring into attack ads against us.

Essentially, this is the worst time to fall short. But it also presents an opportunity for our grassroots army to blow it out of the water and catch up to where we need to be! And because I refuse to take corporate PAC money, I’m counting on you to help make this campaign as strong as possible right now.
