This is urgent, John: Beginning today, the Supreme Court is hearing a case on Mississippi’s abortion ban which bans abortions in nearly all cases after 15 weeks.

Mississippi’s law is in direct violation of Roe v. Wade, and this case could fundamentally alter the future of reproductive freedom across the nation.

Barbara knows we CANNOT return to the era before Roe. That’s why she’s rallying today outside the Supreme Court to demand the Court uphold Roe and protect the right to safe, legal abortions.

She also knows we cannot leave it up to the conservative-majority Supreme Court. Barbara and her colleagues in the House have passed the Women’s Health Protection Act, which will codify Roe v. Wade. But now, it’s waiting for a vote in the Senate.
