Hi Friend,
Senate Majority Leader Schumer is my Senator in New York. I’ve marched across the Brooklyn Bridge, rallied outside his office, and demanded he deliver citizenship! But I didn’t do it alone. These last several months, immigrant youth and allies have been taking action across the country to demand citizenship in the Build Back Better bill.
The House has already voted to include protections for immigrants in their version of Build Back Better, and now the ball is in the Senate’s court to reinstate citizenship in their version. That’s why we’re launching our “Jam Their Phones” Week of Action from Dec. 13th-17th to keep the pressure on Senate Dems. Can you get some friends together on Zoom and host a party to drive calls to key Senators?
Let's Party!
Senate Dems won't be back in their home districts until the legislative session is over for the year, so we’re bringing our demand for citizenship to them by jamming the phone lines with our calls to their D.C. offices!
To host your own “Jam Their Phones” Party, all you need is to pick a date, invite your friends, and make calls to key Senate Dems. Once you sign up to host a “Jam Their Phones” Party, you’ll get a toolkit with everything you need to make your party a success.
The Democrats in the Senate have the power and responsibility to deliver citizenship to millions in our immigrant communities this year. Be the leader your community needs and host a “Jam Their Phones” Party next week!
