Folks – Roe v. Wade is under attack like never before.

Today, the Supreme Court heard arguments on a Mississippi abortion ban, directly challenging the 50-year precedent set by Roe v. Wade .

If overturned, this could wipe out access to reproductive health care in states with Republican-led legislatures across the country, including New Hampshire, where Republicans passed a restrictive abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest earlier this year.

This rollback of our constitutional rights is a dangerous attack on women's health and economic freedom. For decades, Roe v. Wade has protected a woman’s constitutional right to make her own health care decisions, and we must continue to protect this critical precedent.

That’s why I joined my colleagues in the Senate in introducing the Women’s Health Protection Act to guarantee the right to access an abortion.
