Financial Implications Exposed: Addressing Water-Related Impacts in the Packaged Meat and Apparel Industries
December 14, 2021, 11am ET
With the water crisis intensifying at a dizzying pace, investors and companies increasingly are in need of more advanced research and tools to better understand and appropriately act on water risk. This webinar will share the findings and implications of new, first-of-its-kind research led by Ceres and Bluerisk in partnership with DWS and S&P Global Sustainable1 that will help investors and companies better understand the financial implications of industry impacts to water resources. The analysis finds that sufficient information is available for companies to estimate the magnitude of water-related externalities across the value chain and inform the potential capital and operational
expenditure required to eliminate impacts, reduce value at risk, and capitalize on opportunities in the face of increasing water challenges. Participants will be provided with a glimpse into the financial implications of addressing water-related impacts for packaged meats and apparel companies. |
