Read on to learn more about the sixth artist we are spotlighting...

Dear John,

Two weeks ago, we launched our first-ever NIAC Community Artist Series! We will continue to spotlight two artists per week to showcase our appreciation for the singers, dancers, and musicians that are celebrating what it means to be Iranian American through art.

Today, we’re excited to introduce you to our sixth artist spotlight: Jessie Massoudi!

Jessie is an Iranian-American soprano singer based in Southern California. Jessie has a passion for musical theatre, opera, and storytelling. Fun fact: she’s also a math nerd! Read all about Jessie and her work in our latest blog post >

Thank you again for joining us in celebrating community artists. The pandemic hit the art and music industry very hard, yet artists like Jessie have continued to compose and play music to bring us all light and joy during this dark time.

Sincerely,

Donna Farvard
Organizing Director, NIAC

P.S. You can watch Jessie’s performance NIAC’s Norooz 1400 event here.
