Today, the Supreme Court is hearing arguments in Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization, a legal case that directly challenges the constitutional right to an abortion.
This case could have catastrophic effects for the right to choose across our country. Not only could the Supreme Court allow Mississippi to ban nearly all abortions beyond 15 weeks, but the state has also asked the Court to overturn Roe itself.
If this conservative Supreme Court is so determined to legislate from their supposedly impartial position, we have to make sure we have legislators who are willing to fight back. John, I'm the only candidate in this race with a 100% pro-choice record — something my opponent Tim Ryan can’t say.
Rep. Tim Ryan, who has voted 72% of the time against a woman’s right to choose, can’t be trusted to enact federal changes to protect our constitutional right. We can’t keep relying on career politicians who vote for corporate interests, not their deeply held values.
