Let’s be real - the past two years have left us all feeling exhausted. But, when we look at what we fought for – the eviction moratorium, increases to the TANF cash grant, stimulus checks, rental assistance, the Working Families Tax Credit, the expansion of the federal Child Tax Credit, and so much more – we are reminded of the strength of our solidarity in demanding the support we deserve.

While we still have a long way to go in building a world where every person can put food on the table, pay for our families’ everyday needs, and pursue our own goals in life, the opportunity that comes from the momentum we built this year gives us hope. None of these legislative wins were handed to us on a silver platter; every victory was hard fought and won by community advocates like you meeting with your representatives, making phone calls, sending e-mails, and showing up in numbers.

This Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 17) we invite you continue Building Momentum Together by attending our 17th Annual Lobby Day!

Join us this Lobby Day to…

• Build your story-telling and advocacy skills
• Connect with other community members who share our vision for change
• Share your story directly with your state representatives

Sign up early to get your Lobby Day kit in the mail 💌

For the second year in a row, Lobby Day will be held virtually on Zoom, with video and call-in options. But, we are working to organize in-person meeting spaces across the state! E-mail us at [email protected] if you are interested in meeting up with other advocates in your legislative district.

Well this Thursday, you can find out what a dental therapist does and how they can improve access to dental care where you live at our Dental Therapy Open House:
• Hear from a dental therapist about the impact of their work
• Connect with other advocates who believe no matter what, we all deserve a healthy smile
• Take action to improve dental access in Washington!
