Oral arguments started today at the Supreme Court on the Mississippi anti-choice case directly threatening the precedent set by Roe v. Wade.
It’s the most serious challenge to reproductive choice since abortion became a constitutionally protected right nearly 50 years ago.
I filed a legal brief to the Supreme Court explaining why Mississippi’s law is unconstitutional, harmful, and inequitable. I wanted to make sure that Washingtonians who are deeply opposed to these extreme efforts to restrict individual access to reproductive health care will have their voice heard at the Supreme Court.

Starting December 11th — less than two weeks from now — Washington state law requires a mandatory “freeze” on all fundraising for state elected officials — including Bob. This freeze begins one month before the state legislative session begins and lasts as long as the legislature is in session. In other words, Bob cannot accept any campaign contributions from December 11th until next Spring.
