John,

Today, just months after they allowed Texas's disastrous abortion ban to go into effect, the United States Supreme Court will hear yet another case from Mississippi that has the potential to end Roe v. Wade as we know it.

Counting on the 6-3 conservative majority Donald Trump put on the Court to rule in their favor, Republicans across the country have renewed their decades-long assault on abortion rights with a vengeance, including right here in Minnesota.

Earlier this fall, a Republican Minnesota State Representative called Texas's abortion ban "great news for America" and pledged to introduce a similar bill during the upcoming legislative session.

Every single Republican candidate running against Lt. Governor Flanagan and me is staunchly anti-choice. If they ever had the chance, they'd sign a Texas- or Mississippi-style abortion ban the moment it hit their desk.

As the Supreme Court hears this case, it's never been more important for those of us who believe that safe and legal access to abortion is a constitutional right to stand together and raise our voices.

Will you join me today? Take a moment to add your name in support of Roe v. Wade right away to show Republicans in Minnesota and everywhere across the country that we will not back down from defending a woman's right to choose.
