Today the Supreme Court will hear an incredibly important case that threatens to overturn Roe v. Wade despite decades of settled case law and the support of nearly 8 in 10 Americans.
If Roe is overturned, Republicans will be successful in denying women across the country safe, legal abortion care, robbing them of their bodily autonomy and forcing them to travel across states or seek out other methods of obtaining the care they need.
It’s despicable.
No matter what the Supreme Court rules, it’s clear that we need to pass law at the Federal level protecting a woman’s right to choose.
Keeping Democratic control of the House and expanding our Senate majority is paramount in making that possible.
